Mutoh's ValueJet 1204 printer, which is suited for indoor and outdoor applications, has been specifically developed for signmakers wanting to invest into their own eco-solvent printer, as well as pay for print businesses looking to replace their existing water-based ink printer.  The printer can also perfectly address the need of existing wide-format users for a supplementary printer for smaller print jobs.

Utilizing Mutoh's third-generation  Eco-Solvent Ultra inks, the ValueJet 1204 offers a media width of 1300 mm (51") and a print width of 1200 mm (47.2").  The CMYK printer can handle 2" & 3" roll and cutsheet media and incorporates three individually controllable heating elements.

The ValueJet 1204 brings you a lot of user-friendly features, as well as innovative inkjet printing technology:

• A new generation piezo drop-on-demand variable drop "wide-model" print head, offering the industry's smallest available drop size (3.5 pl).  The 1440 nozzle head incorporates four colour sections (two nozzle rows of 180 nozzles/colour).
• Print resolutions offered are 540 x 720 dpi, 720 x 720 dpi, 1440 x 720 dpi & 1440 x 1440 dpi.
• Especially in view of the target public of starting "full colour" signmakers, 10 different print modes have been pre-defined.
• Mutoh's NEW proprietary patent pending I² (= INTELLIGENT INTERWEAVING) printing technology.

ValueJet will allow typical production speeds onto self-adhesive uncoated PVC up to 7 m²/h and onto banner media up to 14 m²/h.
